About TAP Sports Bar

Located within the bustling MGM Grand on Las Vegas Boulevard, TAP Sports Bar offers a vibrant American dining experience rooted in classic flavors and a lively atmosphere. As a destination for sports fans and food lovers alike, TAP excels in delivering hearty fare with a modern twist, pairing well-crafted dishes with attentive service.

The menu shines with its robust selection of appetizers such as the TAP Nachos, layered with pickled jalapeños, fresh pico de gallo, creamy guacamole, and queso fresco, creating a satisfying balance of spice and freshness. Equally enticing are the Wisconsin Fried Cheese curds, perfectly beer-battered and accompanied by a flavorful ranch dip, inviting you to indulge in a warm, cheesy delight.

Salads like the crisp Wedge Salad and the Southwest-inspired offerings provide a fresh counterpoint, demonstrating the kitchen’s versatility beyond typical bar fare. The tacos-whether the tender Carne Asada or the crunchy Beer Battered Fish-showcase a careful blend of textures and flavors, highlighted by thoughtful touches like queso fresco and zesty lime.

What truly elevates TAP Sports Bar is how these dishes come together in a cohesive, approachable manner. Burgers, often the centerpiece in such a setting, stand out here: juicy, well-seasoned, and paired with fries that carry a welcomed hint of spice. The casual but polished service reflects a genuine care for guest experience, as echoed in reviews praising attentive staff and a friendly ambiance.

For those seeking value, the weekday burger and fries special offers an unbeatable combination of quality and price, perfect for a quick lunch break or an after-hours bite. Meanwhile, fans of classic American steak dishes will find satisfaction in options like the ribeye and steak sandwich, which deliver on tenderness and flavor.

Food quality was superb Burgers were the best you can get Fries were very good, a bit more spicy than usual Attendant was very caring, courteous Highly recommended I have reviewed many restaurants and this is one of the 5 stars I hardly give out ;))

Had the street corn and cheeseburger, corn was ok but not authentic corn, but for a bar it was decent and flavor wasn’t bad. The cheeseburger was good and would order again.. fries were very good. Beer was cold, and bartender Harro (might be misspelling) was attentive. We didn’t have much time so was a great on the run sit down meal.

The food was really good but nothing that stood out. We had the bbq wings and loaded steak fries. Our server was super friendly.

I had a pleasant experience here. Make sure you take advantage of the $9.99 burger + fries special. It’s only available Monday through Thursday from 2 PM to 5 PM. They don’t advertise it in the restaurant and I was lucky to see a random poster on property, as well as the MGM website. Decent burger for the price and way better than you’ll find at the food court.

First time here, we usually go to wolfgang puck, but since we ate there last night no one wanted to go there again…. However this was a great choice! On the first round we ordered the ribeye, the steak sandwich and the chicken strips.. EVERYTHING was delicious!

If you're looking for a 5-star upscale hoity-toity ritzy Las Vegas experience, this is not your place. But if you're hungry and want a quick bite to reserve your dollars and time for the slots, shows or other pursuits the town has to offer, this is it. We stopped in after our flight to town and just wanted some quick eats that didn't set us back the $$$$ that so many restaurants around here display (read that: boku bucks). We were pleasantly surprised! We had the chicken tacos (delish) and a Caesar salad (expected) with wine. The food and drinks came really fast (insert smiley face here) and the portions were large. But the delight was -- major shout out here -- KATT, our server. She was friendly, helpful and so personable! Table service (food deliverers and table clearers) were super friendly too. We ordered dessert to go, which was yummy later at the hotel but FYI the dessert portions are small. Good for us, but might be a disappointment to others and are not sharable size. All in all, this place is a 5-star *in its class.* It's a good tap bar with good tap-bar eats and treats. Atmosphere is relaxing and fun with TVs everywhere and a large open kitchen. I'm really glad it's available for the weary, hungry and thirsty casually-dressed travelers that we were. Now on to Viva Las Vegas!

December 2025: Nice place for beer and food. Service was friendly and attentive. Had a local Las Vegas that I enjoyed. For food, I had a Caesar salad with salmon. Dressing was requested on the side because I don't like a lot of dressing. Overall, was very tasty . Other food options that looked good: chili, burger, Mac and cheese.

Food is unexpectedly good and affordable. Portion is huge. It’s afternoon snack time so we ordered the chicken fingers and fries to share. Sadly we are unable to finish the plate. There are around 6-7 pieces of chicken fingers and tons of fries. We got the homey mustard sauce and buffalo sauce. The sauce is as good as the ones from Raising Cain. Server Nancy is the sweetest lady ever. I’ll come back tomorrow to try other stuff.
